On behalf of ROKM Developments Ltd., MAD Studio Inc. has made an Application to rezone the property at 602 Lakeshore Drive Drive from R2-Small Lot Residential Zone to RM3-Residential Medium Density Multiple Housing Zone and for a Development Permit (DP) in order to facilitate the construction of an 8-Unit 5-Storey multi-residential structure. The Application was revised to reduce the building height to four storeys to comply wth the requirements of the Official Community Plan (OCP 2045)

On behalf of ROKM Developments Ltd., MAD Studio Inc. has made an Application to rezone the property at 602 Lakeshore Drive Drive from R2-Small Lot Residential Zone to RM3-Residential Medium Density Multiple Housing Zone, for a Development Permit (DP), and for an Official Community Plan (OCP) Amendment  in order to facilitate the construction of an 8-Unit 5-Storey multi-residential structure.

On behalf of ROKM Developments Ltd., MAD Studio Inc. held a Public Information Meeting with members of the general public in attendence. The meeting was a success as support for the project from the attendees was unanimous.
 
In addition to the Public Information Meeting, the developer held a meet and greet session at the proposed site on July 3rd and 4th, 2021. We received overwhelming support for the project massing, aesthetics, and unit mix from the neighbourhood and residents of Penticton at large. Thank you Penticton!

Notice of Public Information Meeting with the Developer

On behalf of ROKM Developments Ltd., MAD Studio Inc. is considering making an Application to rezone the property at 602 Lakeshore Drive Drive from R2-Small Lot Residential Zone to RM3-Residential Medium Density Multiple Housing Zone, for a Development Permit (DP), and for an Official Community Plan (OCP) Amendment  in order to facilitate the construction of an 8-Unit 5-Storey multi-residential structure. A Public Information Meeting will be held with the Developer - ROKM Developments Ltd., and the Architect - MAD Studio, to answer any questions about the proposed development. The intent of this Meeting is to discuss the Rezoning, Development Permit and OCP Amendment of the site, and to discuss 3 options for the form and character of the proposed building with members of the public.
 
The Public Information Meeting will be held on-line via a Zoom conference call because of current restrictions imposed on gatherings due to the Covid-19 epidemic. This site has been established to give access to the information that has been submitted to the City of Penticton and to allow everyone to have a look at it prior to the Public Information Meeting.
